Two skilled digital illustrations of “orbital snipers” by the digital artist Geoffroy Thoorens who hails from France. These two images have resulted in heated debate in the comments section to the images on deviantART. Does the concept of an orbital sniper even make sense? If the sniper is equipped with laser guided munitions, I see no reason why it would not work? Otherwise, you would need some mad boss Kentucky Windage skills to reach the intended target! Perhaps these snipers are using infantry grade rail guns and will certainly splash their targets and well ummm everyone else in the vicinity.
