Great piece of work here by Kibwe Tavares depicting robots struggling against police authority in a futuristic recreation of the riots in South London’s Brixton community. This in your face recreation of the 1981 Brixton riots in the UK really hits you in the gut. With actual footage from the riots seamlessly merged in with the animation the artistic quality of this science fiction film is off the scale. One of the best sci-fi shorts I have seen this year!
