H. R. Giger died yesterday at the age of 74 years young. He had a creative style all his own and was a talented sculptor, designer and artist. Instead of including one of Giger’s images in this post I decided to include this phenomenal Giger inspired artwork from DA artist jimiyo. Why not an actual Giger image? I included this absolutely fantastic artwork titled Giger Vader from jimiyo to illustrate the point that Giger will not only live on in his artwork, but in the countless other works of art inspired by the artistic vision and passion of H.R. Giger. Until humanity, 2.0 kicks in the only way us human 1.0 units can become immortal is through great works of art. That and doing something incredibly violent and or stupid.
