Minsk, Belarus, August 27th, 2014 – Ukraine peace talks break down when Vladimir Putin denies that Ukraine shares a border with Russia.
“This is not so,” declared Putin, “Russia does not share a border with Ukraine. All this talk of troops crossing from our peaceful country into Ukraine is not geographically possible.”
When asked for any proof of this wild claim, Vlad “the impaler” Putin produced a map showing that Russia actually shares a contiguous border with Greenland on all sides. “It is where we get all our ice.” said Vlad with a crooked smile before he and his angelic team of ambassadors abruptly left the meeeting.
